About Me

Hi! My name is Christine Leiser Schroeder and I am Starbrightjewels.com. It's a one woman show here.

I'm the jewelry designer, marketing director, web designer and hosting provider. I also homeschool my children so basically I have no time to sleep, but I don't mind. I love being busy.

I've been designing jewelry since 2001 and I just love it. I started doing it because I was getting a little burned out on coding and graphic design. I wanted to do something more tangible. I tried scrap booking, stamping, card making, ornament making and myriad other things, but they just didn't do it for me. Then one day I walked into a bead store and that was it! I just loved the feel of the cool beads in my hand, the sparkle of the crystal, the sheen of the pearls. I bought a ton of sparklies and the rest, as they say, is history.

Each piece from StarBright Jewels is lovingly hand-crafted using quality materials. I hope you love my creations as much as I love making them and if there's something you'd like to have custom made, please don't hesitate to contact me, no matter how abstract an idea seems. I love a challenge and there's nothing more rewarding than having someone say, "That's just what I had in mind!"
